Ceramic Mosaic Illustration
I illustrate in a fresh, yet classic medium—ceramic mosaics. Colorful tiles create images that fascinate children. I learned how to mosaic after living in Spain, teaching at the American School of Valencia, and taking ceramics. Heavily influenced by Barcelona’s Antonio Gaudí, I took lemons (a box of broken hand-painted Spanish ceramic bowls and plates) and made lemonade through my mosaics.
